Bay Creek Elementary School's own Emily Winnicki was recently nominated as a "Hero for Autism". In honor of Autism Awareness Month, the Autism Society of America - Greater Georgia Chapter accepted nominations recognizing individuals throughout the state of Georgia that are making a positive impact in the Autism Community. The nominations included therapists, educators, doctors, friends, parents and others that are making a difference in the life of someone with autism. Ms. Winnicki was nominated by a BCES parent for making a significant difference in the lives of children diagnosed with Autism. Way to go Ms. Winnicki! |
