The biological sciences encompass many fascinating and important fields. Whether it is used to preserve natural habitat, improve farming techniques, crime scene investigation, combating antibiotic resistant microbes, making informed decisions, or simply to gain a better understanding of our natural world, science plays a role in all of our lives.

Welcome to science. My name is Robert Silver and I am a native Georgian. I live here in Loganville with my wife, twin daughters and my son. I teach Biology and Environmental Science and Coach the JV Boys soccer team here at LHS. I am proud to be a part of this school and community. 

Three reasons why I do this are pictured here. The world that my children will inherit will be run by the people who are now in High School.  It is my role to pass on the importance, excitement and wonder that science can bring to their lives.  I strive to provide students with the tools  they need in order to be responsible consumers of information so that they can make the best decisions possible as they enter society as young adults.
